The new Star Wars game for Microsoft's Xbox 360 is due for release next week and this time all you'll need to play is the Force and a Kinect.
The game is inspired by all six Star Wars movies and features realistic visuals of the Star Wars universe, including iconic characters, ships, droids and more. It also supports 3D gameplay.
Xbox Australia category marketing manager Michelle Kelly said the Kinect’s full-body interaction made the action more intense than in any previous Star Wars game.
"For the first time you can actually be a character. You can really feel the energy and have that authentic lightsaber experience," she said.
The game allows you to use your body to jump, kick and dodge your enemies.
You fire-up your lightsaber by swinging your arms and Jedi training comes in the form of a series of high energy space battles. Eventually you'll go head-to-head with the Dark Lord himself.
"It's good for playing on your own if you want to level up and improve your skills, but you can also play with others," Michelle said.
"It's also great as a spectator sport. Plus, the Kinect takes photos of you playing the game, which you can save or share with friends."
Kinect Star Wars will be released in Australia on Thursday, April 5.
